Giant Jenga
Surely someone you know made their own Giant Jenga. Weddings are known for having personalized DIY games. Or, check to see if anyone took the plunge and bought a game! Giant Jenga games are sure to get plenty of use over the years. Include a small table for set-up.
Egg in a Spoon Race
Keep it simple! Color raw eggs - don’t hard-boil them or you’ll spoil the fun! Save the egg cartons for transport. Pack enough spoons for each competitor. Then have the kids collect a few sticks to mark the start and finish line. Everyone can race as 1 big group. Or consider doing elimination races. Two players race at a time with the winner taking on the next player. Watch them laugh! Unfortunately, a few may also cry!
Ring Toss
Get creative on this one! There are lots of clever DIY games out there. One uses large washers from the hardware store! Find something around the house or in the garage. It just has to have spikes or “arms” small enough for the washers to slide onto. If you’re handy, go to the plumbing section at that same hardware store. Pick up a few pipes and angles to connect together in a fun shape. Make a base or just stick in the ground. Done! You can also Google search ideas for creating a board with coat hooks or cute little puppy dog tail hooks! Let your creativity shine!
